This is a funny buy useful seeming idea..

I have so much going on in my level now that im finding it hard keeping track of everything. Sometimes ive forgotten to label new objects correctly, so I have no idea where some things are (invisible switches and respawn points mostly)

I'd really love a scrolling window of all the assets, where you can click on them and have the editor window focus on them.. One of my switches.. Well I dont even remember what it was originally *for* let alone where it currently resides. XD

I'm thinking of it like the locator windows in most 3D modelling apps, it could just be a floating list brought up when you need it, shouldn't have to take up any space when you dont want it. ^^

100% agree... I have a few invisible objects as well and remembering exactly where they all are from time to time is a little tough.

I'm going to bump this because i nee it even more now;

The way ive been doing certain things in ZH - the keys, special effects, etc.. I've had a stack of characters on top of the player object that are attached to him and so follow you around.. This is great, but some of them are massive, and if i want to adjust anything underneath them i have to temporarily shuffle everything around..

(Is there a way to select something under another object? Could you add the ability to temporarily hide objects, or make them see-through and select-throughable..)

This brings me back to the list - which would be a lot better.. I could seriously use that list window.. Very Happy

I like that idea too. It would also be useful for
when you layer lighting effects like the manual
says to to save memory. That would be a VERY good
addition! Very Happy Very Happy

For the mean time, this is how I select items beneath other items.

Click and drag a box around the item you are after.
Now deselect the items you were not after by clicking on them while holding down shift.

That works mostly but when you have so many overlapping and some of them are vast, others totally invisible or tiny, deselecting them can be an issue, hehe.
